Canada’s Lineup to Feature Weekend Matinees

Welcome back to HNIC Coast To Coast! After a break for the NHL All-Star festivities, we are looking forward to a loaded weekend of Canadian National Hockey League action. All seven teams will be in action on Saturday, with two teams playing again on Sunday.

At 7:00 p.m. ET, the Toronto Maple Leafs will take on the Ottawa Senators in the Battle of Ontario. The Maple Leafs are coming off a 5-4 win against Dallas, while the Senators have won back-to-back games in overtime. The season series is currently in favor of the Senators.

The 10:00 p.m. ET HNIC Headliner features the Edmonton Oilers playing the Los Angeles Kings. The Oilers recently had a 16-game win streak, just one shy of the NHL record, before suffering a defeat. The Kings, on the other hand, have lost 14 of their last 17 games and will be playing under interim head coach Jim Hiller.

Other Canadian NHL games on Saturday include the Vancouver Canucks playing the Detroit Red Wings, the Montreal Canadiens hosting the Dallas Stars, the Calgary Flames facing the New York Islanders, and the Pittsburgh Penguins taking on the Winnipeg Jets.

On Sunday, the St. Louis Blues will play the Montreal Canadiens, and the Vancouver Canucks will face the Washington Capitals.

Amid the NHL action, we also have you covered for the Super Bowl.
